The paradox of photography is that we make something tangible out of a combination of intangibles – and from the concrete product, create a frame for the abstract. We spin golden thread out of sunlight and weave velvet capes from the evening sky, slicing up pieces of time so that as the earth resumes its course, we get to borrow bits of constancy..
